More than 100 students of a leading boys’ school were taken into custody this morning on charges of having forcibly entered several leading girls’ schools in Colombo. March & April months are considered as Big Match fever months in Sri Lanka. Jumping into girls' schools was a tradition of Big Match but now it has banned but some school boys still doing it.
The students were released a few hours later after a stiff warning.

Police has requested the school students not to act in a manner that causes obstruction to the public when celebrating the big-match season.
